Karla Tankersley

Karla has 15 years experience in manufacturing and distribution engineering and has been working within specialty retail for the past seven years. She is currently serving Gap, Inc. as Director of Engineering and has a team of 25 engineers that report to her throughout the United States and Canada. She has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Distribution Engineering, which involves process improvement, material handling technology, and systems, is new to many people. Her presentation will elaborate on these topics and add color to this little known but exciting area of engineering.
