The 2006 poster art is an original painting in acrylic and gouache on linen panel by Theo Rudnak, who has created three previous Engineers Week posters, 1990, 2000, and 2005. The image is meant to be an interpretation of the importance of engineering in everyday life, highlighting the impact of engineering on daily affairs whether simple or complex. The painting incorporates the interconnection of many different engineering disciplines. |
