Judith NitschJudith Nitsch, P.E., LEED™ AP

Judy Nitsch is the founding principal of Judith Nitsch Engineering, Inc., a 57-person firm in Boston. Established in 1989, Judith Nitsch Engineering provides civil engineering, land surveying, traffic engineering, planning, and GIS services to clients up and down the East Coast.

With 30 years of experience and as a registered professional engineer in 18 states, Judy’s work as a civil engineer has focused on the design and management of site development and infrastructure-related projects. She is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.

Judy is a past president of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts and the Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section/ASCE. She was the youngest and first woman president in each organization.

Judy has received many awards including five young engineer awards and ASCE’s Parcel-Sverdrup Engineering Management Award.

In 1989, Judy was elected the first alumna member to WPI's Board of Trustees, and currently serves as Chair of the Physical Facilities Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee and the Budget & Finance Committee.
