Ms. Sudha Raju is currently an independent strategic advisor. Till July, 2008 she was working with Manipal Universal as Principal Officer, Corporate Affairs & Strategy. Sudha contributes to & is responsible for areas connected to Strategy Development, Networking & Government Relations, Marketing, Leadership Development, and Business Development (including a special focus on creating Placement relationships with corporate organisations). Prior to joining MU in Nov. 2006, Sudha was working with NIIT for close to 23 years and her assignment at the time of leaving was that of Senior Vice President, responsible for strategic relationships for NIIT. She has worked in various areas other than IT such as Head Strategic HR, Personal Quality Movement and in the capacity of Head – Southern region of NIS and has a rich experience in Sales & Marketing. She started her career at Indian Institute of Management - Bangalore in 1978 working on various projects including a stint of a Teaching Assistant. She worked for EDCAT providing management consultancy and imparting courses on soft skills & competencies. She has a rich & varied professional experience of over 30 years. Sudha is a Regional Vice President of Computer Society of India for Southern region. Sudha was a Director in the local Board of State Bank of India; she head CII Women business leader’s forum. Before this she headed IT & BPO panel of CII. She is an invited member of the BMA managing committee and is the past Chairperson of MAIT, Southern region. She has been involved in various committees of Karnataka Government, Tamil Nadu, Goa, and Kerala state IT Councils. She is a Masters in Social Work from Bangalore University. Sudha is married to H.S.
