Topic:  Finding Fun in Technology

Presentation Summary

Puzzle solving, telling stories, and working on a team are just a few of the responses given by technology professionals when asked, "What makes your job fun?"  In Finding Fun in Technology, we'll take a look beyond the stereotypes related to working with and studying technology to explore how it can be fun for everyone.

Nancy Ross Dribin is the Director of Interactive Media at the Adler Planetarium. She began her exploration of multimedia development at the Educational Development Center's Center for Children and Technology, where she had the opportunity to work on numerous research and development teams for over five years. With the completion of SEA, she moved to the Chicago History Museum, where her work culminated in the recent year-long redesign of the museum's website (www.chicagohistory.org).  She currently oversees all new media projects at the Adler, including the popular Adler Night and Day podcast, exhibition multimedia interactive development, and the ongoing redesign of the Adler website.
