Priya Chetty-Rajagopal

Priya Chetty-Rajagopal is a well known industry figure at Bangalore. She heads the Corporate Practice at Stanton Chase  International , a premier Executive Search firm  rated as the top seven worldwide , and top two in India. She is a key member  of their  International  Marketing Committee , and also has  focused on setting up their  Global Diversity Practice .

Prior to her joining Stanton Chase , Priya had over 19 years experience in the service industry covering credit cards with Diners Club, and business centers with Diners Business Services. In her last assignment, she had dual responsibilities as General Manager, DBS Corporate Services, and Regional Manager - Asia for Alliance Business Centers Network (ABCN) USA, during which she has interacted with hundreds of top notch corporate and multinationals setting up base in Bangalore. This seasoned industry specialist has been responsible for the set up, operations, marketing and profitability of one of the largest and most well known business centers in India , apart from providing thought leadership, high brand recall, and strategic impetus to the Group,  is also on the Marketing Committee of the OBCAI (the worldwide business center trade body) in the USA. 

A National Merit Scholar, and an outstanding student in both her Bachelor of Arts and her   Post Graduation in Marketing  Management ,  Priya also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations.

Priya has been conferred the Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award for Excellence in 1997 and has also been recognized for her achievements by the Guild of Women Achievers in 2000. In 2004, she was selected by the British Government for the prestigious Chevening Scholarship for Women in Leadership and Management in the UK. She is active in various fora at the BMA, TiE FICCI etc. She is also the immediate past Chairperson of the (IACC)  Indo American Chamber of Commerce ( Karnataka) in addition to being  recently  elected  to the National Executive Council of the IACC, the first woman to hold  either of these  positions. She  is also the  Founder- Chair of the Women’s Business Council within the IACC .

She has led  CXO level  search assignments for companies as diverse as  Columbia Asia, Strides Arcolabs,  , Intec , Jupiter Capital , Accenture ,  Mphasis ,  Go Air , GMR Group , Countrywide, Prudential, TVS , Britannia, Tishman Speyers, Actis Advisors  and Tyco .
