Tricia Walker

Tricia Walker is a catheter design engineer with Accellent, Inc. in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, where she uses her experience to aid in catheter design and manufacturing. Her unique approach to design employs integrated design tools to compress the development cycle, thus achieving rapid, high quality, and innovative designs to the customer. Walker previously worked as an R&D engineer and engineering supervisor at Catheter and Disposables Technology, Inc. and aided in the design, development, and management of over 20 medical devices used in the cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, nervous, reproductive, and skeletal systems. Walker is an active member of the community and in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) on the local, regional and national levels. As the Professional Development Co-Chair for SWE-Minnesota, she helped coordinate 20 events in a two-year time span.
