Maryam Ali Al Thani

Maryam currently serves as voting member at IEEE Women in Engineering committee (WIEC). She also has been appointed as IEEE Women in Engineering Coordinator for Region 8 which covers Europe, Africa & Middle East

She is also a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (used to be called IEE) and member Mensa.

Maryam hold BS in Electrical Engineering from United Arab Emirates University 1998 and her EMBA from Zayed University 2006. She worked in different organizations such as UAE University, Dubai Aluminum Company Ltd (DUBAL) and Schneider Electric before joining Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC).

During her high school education, Maryam received honor recognition in Mathematics from Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States for achieving the Silver Medal in Math among Gulf States – Feb 1992.

During her work at DUBAL, she received award recognition for her participation in the quality internal audit program at the company.
