Amy A. Ross, Ph.D.
Amy Ross has been involved in the GLBT scientific community for over 25 years. As a founding member of the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Scientists, she has been instrumental in presenting symposia on AIDS, homophobia in the sciences, and other GLBT issues to academic, government, corporate and professional society audiences. Amy is currently the Mentoring Program Coordinator for the National Organization for Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals (NOGLSTP). With a Ph.D. in Experimental Pathology from the University of Southern California, Amy currently serves as Vice President of Research and Development at Diamics, Inc. a cancer diagnostics company in Marin County, CA.
