Gina is a Sr. Network Engineer for Verizon Business Public IP Network, Internet Dedicated Access Product. Her job functions include researching vendor implementations, hands-on testing of hardware and software designs, educating other departments (marketing, finance, management, planning, and operations) regarding project, & managing projects from design to implementation.

Gina successfully completed the Engineering Development Program (EDP). EDP was a managerial fast track program that exposed recent college graduates to various business groups and technologies. During this program, she gained experience in the areas of network support, testing, engineering, voice, Frame Relay and ATM Network Technologies.

Prior to joining Verizon Business, Gina worked at the Pre-Vocation Trainer Center at the University of Iowa. She served as a trainer for a program that encouraged women to explore opportunities in the skilled and technical trades.

Gina received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of Iowa. She received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Gina is a recipient of the People Making Difference and Star Performers in Operations and Technology Awards. She also received the MCI Technology Scholarship which was a five year scholarship and internship for women entering the field of computer science or engineering.
