David A. Landry

David Landry is Executive Director, Billing Systems.  He is responsible for strategic delivery of billing systems, electronic billing products, the billing Portal, revenue assurance systems and billing finance reports.  This organization is charged with reducing the cost of billing through billing system transformation, providing Verizon Business customers with world class electronic billing and bill analysis capabilities; and, providing timely billing that accurately reflects complex contract terms and conditions and leverages the strengths of Verizon and MCI.

Prior to this position he was Executive Director of Enterprise Billing Systems for Verizon.  This role was closely aligned with his current role.

As Executive Director of Billing and Care for Bell Atlantic, he was responsible for developing Long Distance capabilities and delivering systems in support of 271 filings, including order flowthrough and BOS BDT billing.  He also delivered key components associated with the Billing strategic infrastructure, including VAM, Bill Archive and Retrieval System (BARS) and development of the Vz450 data standard to provide bill analytics across all Verizon billing platforms.  These organizations achieved SEI/CMM Level 3 certification

Dave began his career at Verizon when he joined New England Telephone in 1984 as a software engineer.  He has held a variety of technical and managerial positions during his career.

Prior to Verizon, Dave held software development positions at John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company and Centronics Data Computer Corporation.

He earned a M.S. in Applied Management at Lesley College and a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Southern New Hampshire University, where he is a past member of the Alumni Board of Directors.
