Anda Iosif has been in telecommunication field for 8 years. Currently, Anda Iosif is a network design presales engineer with these Responsibilities:

• Review the technical requirement in the RFP assigned and conduct technical discussion with the customer to fully understand the requirement i.e. voice/ data/ video.
• Analyze and investigate applications (i.e. data, voice, VoIP, protocols, etc) and review traffic pattern and formulate port/PVC recommendation and what transport solution and equipment  is to be used.
• Define and provide technical solution package (LAN/WAN requirement) which includes design drawing showing the network topology solution, technical documentation and write-ups.  Data network design using MPLS, ATM, Frame Relay, IP VPN, TDM based technologies and routing protocol selection;
• Recommend and develop hardware configuration for Cisco router and various access/transport devices and defined the most appropriate IOS, routing protocol to be used.
• Define network elements solution and configuration to be used for the customer side (CPE) and for the service POP or network service side and provide pricing or list of bill of materials;
• Provide technical network solution write-ups overview and design documentation.

Previously Anda Iosif worked for Raytheon Company, Bucharest Romania as a project Engineer in Piping Design where Anda Iosif was responsible for:

• Coordinating design efforts of a team of six drafters and worked independently for mechanical, piping, Piping & Instrument Diagrams, and plumbing drawings, using, for a power plant of 2100 MW, located in RATCHABURY, THAILAND.
• Working with a Microsoft Access database for managing Pumps specifications, Bid tabulations, Evaluation of Quotation after necessary clarification with Bidders. Participated to pre-award meeting with selected Bidders for various projects.
  Designed special piping equipment for a NaCN Drying Compacting Plant and prepared drawings, using AutoCAD R14 & R13, and AutoLISP programs for various projects for petro-chemical and chemical industry.
• Designing and prepared piping studies for tanks and general layout plans for various projects.
• Designing various equipment for ENGINEERING STANDARD BOOK

Anda Iosif received her B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University Polytechnic of Bucharest Romania. Her professional interests are in IPT Telephony, building Secure Networks, Optical Networks.
