Dear Editor, Summer vacations are upon us. The (your organization) has a suggestion to plan a one-of-a-kind itinerary through the realm of American know-how. Visit www.engineeringsights.org to see 300 attractions that tell the story of American engineering. The site features familiar monuments, such as the St. Louis Arch, as well as more off-beat sights such as one of the world’s largest carousels, and an assortment of candy factories. You’ll also find museums dedicated to everything from roller skates to mining and from barbed wire to cars. The Web site includes photos, fun facts, historical information, and links to the sights.
