As a design engineer at CNH America, an agricultural and construction equipment manufacturer, Brady Lewis develops Skid Steer and Compact Track Loaders for the Case and New Holland brands. He is in New Product Development, working on future projects from initial concept through production launch. He is responsible for part and system design, prototyping, testing, and implementation to create a product that fits the needs of CNH customers.
A Skid Steer Loader is a type of construction equipment. They are classified as compact equipment with operating weights under 12,000 lbs and engines typically under 100 HP. By controlling each set of wheels independently, a skid steer is able to turn around within its own operating circle. This ability combined with its small size, make it ideal for tight working conditions. Skid Steer Loaders are primarily used in construction, landscape, and agriculture industries for digging and lifting operations, in addition driving a wide number of hydraulic attachments. A Compact Track Loader is similar to a Skid Steer Loader except that it drives on two rubber-tracks instead of 4 tires.
Mr. Lewis earned a Master of Business Administration degree at Southwestern College – Winfield, Kansas, and a Bachelor of Science in biosystems engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
