Robert Castor works in a field that combines his passion for environmental protection and sustainability with his engineering background. Mr. Castor is responsible for maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations regarding air emissions, waste water, and storm water at one of Freescale Semiconductor’s 200mm factories. His leadership has already produced significant improvements at various Freescale facilities including chemical recycling, industrial wastewater reclaim and cleanroom airborne molecular contamination. His contributions have resulted not only in tangible monetary savings but in direct benefits to the environment. Mr. Castor is also involved in a global campaign aimed at driving awareness and involving employees in energy conservation and recycling.
Mr. Castor is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin, with a degree in chemical engineering.
