Engineers Nominated by the Project Management Institute

Ashley NovakAshley Novak

Ashley Novak, a senior research engineer with Motorola Inc. in Schaumburg, Illinois, has proven his ability to design and implement experiences on mobile devices, televisions, and computers since joining Motorola in 2006. He was instrumental in the development of the Customer Loyalty Kiosk, which created a retail-store avatar that attempted to help answer customer questions about products for sale. He also led Motorola’s Context-Aware InfoSummary project, which used environmental cues to improve the user’s experience. Novak has assisted with Social TV research that develops more interactive television experiences and is working on one of Motorola’s premier initiatives – future television experiences.

Novak was awarded IEEE’s Best Senior Design Project at Syracuse University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.

Stacey RedingtonStacey Redington

Stacey Redington, an electrical engineer with CH2M HILL in St. Louis, Missouri, where she has provided electrical designs for multiple facility expansions and office layouts, including power to HVAC equipment, office and production area lighting, grounding, lightning protection, power, I/O schematics, panel layouts, and Motor Control Center design. She has also worked on projects to network field devices in a chemical plant using modern bus systems to accelerate installation and commissioning of devices to be done at a central operating station.

Redington holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and Engineers Without Borders-USA.
