Sophia Buckley, is a senior radio frequency engineer at General Dynamics in Needham, Massachusetts.; Buckley earned her Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Jonathan Fredrick, Ph.D. Jonathan Fredrick, Ph.D.

Jonathan Fredrick, Ph.D. electrical engineering, works as a senior electrical engineer II for Raytheon in El Segundo, California.

Fredrick designed a spatial multiplexing smart antenna receiver array, variable true time delay line and an ultra-low noise receiver as a graduate student research engineer in the UCLA Microwave Electronics Laboratory.;

Since joining Raytheon, he has designed many circulators being used in important defense programs that support the radars in numerous aircrafts.; He is currently working on cutting edge technologies to develop broadband isolators and space applications.;

Fredrick’s honors include winning two IEEE MTT-S graduate student fellowships for his outstanding academic capabilities.; His papers captured top prizes at the 29th European Microwave Conference and at the 2002 IEEE MTT-S Conference.;

Tomas Palacios, Ph.DTomas Palacios, Ph.D.

Tomas Palacios, a research engineer at the University of California -Santa Barbara, designs advanced electronic devices.

Since joining the University of California, Palacios has repeatedly set the state-of-the-art in high-frequency high-power transistors through the introduction of revolutionary new structures and processing techniques.; These devices will allow the development of high-speed wireless networks, anti-collision car radars, and highly-efficient electronics.

Palacios is an active IEEE member.; He organized numerous IEEE conferences and seminars at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain where he earned his Telecommunication Engineer degree. He has received numerous awards, published more than 70 contributions on advanced semiconductor devices and has filed two patents.

Mathew Charles Rodrigue, EIT, is a team leader; at Woodard & Curran Inc. in Dedham, Massachusetts. Rodrigue graduated from The University of Maine with degrees in both electrical engineering and computer engineering. He is an active member of the IEEE and Tau Beta Pi.
