Steven
K. Lang, Ph.D
Steven K.
Lang, Ph.D, a staff systems engineer at Intel Corporation in DuPont, Washington,
specializes in providing system-level design and validation training of
workstations and servers.
Lang's responsibilities
include educating the customer through seminars and on-site training with
content creation and delivery of system-level design issues. He is also
responsible for managing the development of customer reference systems
providing customers with insight and guidance on how to design platforms
to support Intel’s next generation processors and chipsets. This
type of system-level support has received high visibility as U.S. multinational
corporations continue to outsource their production and designs to companies
in Taiwan and China. As the Asia Pacific region continues to be the world’s
fastest growing consumer market, a significant amount of importance has
been placed on designing and producing products close to the end user.
Planning and successful execution of these activities are crucial to the
competitiveness of U.S. information technology industry.
