A. Twenty-page Sunday supplement to the Richmond Times-Dispatch 2/22/98. Contained information about local engineering societies, colleges, and Council activities. Supported entirely by advertising.

B. Annual banquet 2/26/98 at Virginia Power facility for society members and invited guests. Included speaker (Walter Witschey, President of Virginia Science Museum), and awards for winners of high school essay contest.

C. Career Day for middle and senior high students at the Virginia Science Museum 3/1/98. Exhibits by societies, colleges, and local companies. Design contests sponsored by three societies.
