Message From Alan Boeckmann

Across the continuum of time, engineers have employed a tremendously complex set of skills to create advancements that have improved the quality of life for people around the world. For 2004's National Engineers Week, the 53rd annual celebration of this noble profession, we are proudly expanding our commemoration by inviting for the first time the participation of the entire global engineering community. With the promise of a new century now well under way, it's time we join together with our international colleagues to celebrate the accomplishments of our vocation and anticipate the possibilities of what will come.
