ASHRAE

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE), founded in 1894, is an international organization of 55,000 members with headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

Through research, standards writing, publishing, and continuing education ASHRAE advances the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration to serve the evolving needs of the public. ASHRAE currently supports 114 research projects. The Society also strives to promote increased public awareness of the requirements for healthful and comfortable indoor environments.
