Lucia Del Pilar Mota Quevedo started her professional career in the ITESM campus Estado de Mexico  in 1993 as professor in the Industrial and Systems Engineering department  teaching subjects such as:  Working Design, Operations Administration, Technology Administration, Culture of Quality, Industrial Plants Planning and others . She is an Industrial and Systems Engineer with 2 Masters Degrees:Administration and Productivity & Quality. She was part of the team who won the National Quality Award given to the campus. In 2001 she received the gold school award as the best professor of the Engineering division of the campus and took the role of coordinator of the Engineering and Architecture areas.

In 2004 she became  the Academic Extension Executive Director for Mexico City. One of her main achievements is the creation of intercampus teams which are in charge of executive & companies training and development.
