Changing the World: One Woman at a Time - Every day women quietly change their communities for the better through work and service. Now let's shout about it. Are you one of these women?
Why:
Engineering is a global profession but women are under-represented in most countries.
To change the E&T professions to be more receptive to women and provide a mechanism for women to help drive that change.
By connecting a global community of these women they benefit personally and professionally and we (families, communities, employers) all benefit by their work.
Effective solutions to global problems require diverse points of view and collaboration. The Marathon is helping to build that diverse global team.
There is a need for a collected, facilitated, collaborative place for individuals and organizations.
