Lori Hasselbring, PhD, P.E. Lori was named 1995 Young Engineer of the Year by the National Society of Professional Engineers Job: She is a consultant for Stress Engineering Services, Inc. She is a technical expert witness -serving as a forensics engineer - and investigates chemical plant explosions, product failures and other accidents where people are killed or seriously injured. Education: Ph.D., Chemical Engineering, University of Delaware; M.S., Chemical Engineering, The Pennsylvania State University; B.S. Paper Science & Engineering, Miami University (Ohio) Why engineering: "My favorite school subjects were math and science. Also, I enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and reading mysteries.
